Q10304 - FAQ: How do I view the e-mail headers ?

Most email clients will hide this information. Read the following instructions to find how you can viewing the full e-mail header information:

WebMail

1. Login WebMail interface at https://wm.merchantsecure.com/
2. Double-click on the message in your Inbox to open it
3.
Click on the right most arrow pointing downwards and select View Headers option from the drop-down list.

 

4. Select all text in the gray box above the email body
5.
Right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the pop-up menu

Outlook

1. Double-click on the message in your Inbox to open it
2. Click on the "View" menu
3. Select "Options"
(Outlook 2007)


4. Select all text in the box labeled "Internet Headers"


5. Right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the pop-up menu

Outlook Express

1. Double-click on the message in your Inbox to open it
2. Click on the "File" menu
3. Select "Properties"
4. Click the "Details" tab
5. Select all text in the box labeled "Internet Headers for This Message"
6. Right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the pop-up menu

Eudora 5.x

1. Double-click on the message in your Inbox to open it
2. In the message toolbar, click the button labeled "Blah Blah Blah", next to the pencil.
3. Select all text of the message
4. Right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the pop-up menu

Netscape 6

1. Double-click on the message in your Inbox to open it
2. Click the "View" menu
3. Click "Message Source"
4. Select all text of the message
5. Right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the pop-up menu
